Pacquiao says no need for Bradley rematch
MANILA, Philippines – Fighting congressman Manny Pacquiao said he has nothing to prove against Timothy Bradley, which is why he chose to fight his Mexican nemesis Juan Manuel Marquez instead.
The Filipino boxer asserted that he clearly won their welterweight title fight last June despite handing over the World Boxing Organization (WBO) belt to Bradley.
“Ano bang kailangang i-prove ko? In-analyze ko ang laban namin, at kitang kita ng lahat na talagang one-sided fight (What do I have to prove? I analyzed the fight and saw what everybody else saw, it was a one-sided fight.),” Pacquiao said before flying to the US on Friday.
